Thelma D. Jones Breast Cancer Fund’s (TDJBCF) Annual Thanksgiving Celebration will be held on Wednesday, November 20, at 6 pm, St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church, 555 Water Street, SW, Washington, DC 20024. The topic of discussion is breast cancer survivors with disabilities.
Opening and closing remarks will be made by Mamie W. Mallory, MS, Board Chair, Thelma D. Jones Breast Cancer Fund. Greetings will be provided by Kimberly Beer, MA, Director, Public Policy, Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation (invited back by popular demand). The support group meeting will feature a panel discussion on breast cancer survivors with disabilities. Regina Blye, MPAff, Advocrat, will serve as the moderator. Confirmed panelists include Breast Cancer Survivors Linda C. Brown, Nicole Rogers and Jourgette Reid-Sillah.
Also, Corinne Bombowsky, Community Development Manager, American Cancer Society, Inc. Northeast Region, and 2019 TDJBCF Inaugural Community Spirit Award Recipient will provide an update on the 2019 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Campaign.
