Thelma D. Jones Breast Cancer Fund Support Group Meeting – Annual Black History Month Celebration – Breast Cancer in Men and Men’s Health, Wednesday, February 19, 2020 from 6-9 pm (St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church, 555 Water Street, SW, Washington DC 20024).

Guest Speakers: Richard K. Kennedy, MD, Former Chief Medical Officer, World Bank Group and TDJBCF Board Member, will discuss overall screening guidelines and men’s health; Michael “Mike” Brookins, Breast Cancer Survivor and Advocate, and former TDJBCF Board Member will discuss his advocacy work and 11-year journey as a breast cancer survivor; Rodney Minor, Executive Producer, Veterans N Transition, Prostate Cancer Survivor and TDJBCF Ambassador will discuss his early diagnosis and treatment as a prostate cancer survivor; and Everett Dodson, Community Health Educator, Office of Minority Health and Health Disparities Research, Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, will talk about reducing the risks for colorectal cancer.
