Philanthropist Reginald Van Lee, an Arts Advocate and retired Booz Allen Hamilton Executive Vice President, will be the guest speaker at the Thelma D. Jones Breast Cancer Fund Support Group Meeting in celebration of Black Philanthropy Month on Wednesday, August 21, at 6 pm at St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church, 555 Water Street, SW, Washington, DC 20024.
A MIT and Harvard graduate, he will talk about his connections to breast cancer and cancer in general, as well as the broader insight he has garnered about the disease in his personal, professional, and philanthropic circles. Also, Tracey Webb, Founder, Black Benefactors, TDJBCF Board Member and one of the leading architects behind Black Philanthropy Month will co-sponsor the celebration and provide greetings. It is the third consecutive year that Black Benefactors has co-sponsored the TDJBCF Black Philanthropy Month Celebration.
